Chapel Hill Tire - Hillsborough Rd

BEWARE! We used to go here when they were Durham tire and auto. Then they got bought. Now they price gouge and think people are dumb. Wanted almost $4k to get my car to pass state inspection. Took it to another shop near by (which is less ”fancy”) and I passed inspection with about $250 dollars in repairs needed. If you are happy to spend 2 to 20 times more, go here. Edited to add: no other mechanics have found the issues with the car that this place claimed to have found. The car has passed inspection and had work done at other places multiple times since we took it to Chapel Hill Tire and Auto in 2025. It runs great! Also, within minutes of placing this negative review I was called and texted by the company questioning my experience.

After being quoted for an expensive service elsewhere, we took our vehicle to Chapel Hill Tire for a second opinion. They confirmed the service was not needed and solved our issue. Danielle was wonderful and provided excellent customer service! Because of their integrity and expertise, we’ll always bring our vehicles to Chapel Hill Tire from now on!

Unreasonable hospitality at its finest! From booking the appointment with Trey to getting up to date info texts from Danielle, I felt like royalty! I came in for an oil change and inspection but had to also get tire sensors and a new tie rod. Danielle worked with me every step of the way. She ensured that the work got done same day and when things didn’t go according to plan, let us leave the car over night so my husband and I could pick it up. Truly a wonderful experience and I highly recommend getting any and all work done at Chapel Hill Tire!

had a great experience at 9-11 Chapel Hill Tire - Hillsborough Road. The team was very professional, honest, and respectful. They took the time to explain everything clearly and made me feel confident about the service. What really stood out to me was that the diagnostic check was free, which shows their honesty and commitment to helping customers without pressure. Overall, this is an excellent place to deal with. Clean, organized, and very trustworthy. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and professional car service.

Can no longer recommend after years here. Truly, whoever supervises “Manager Bobby” PLEASE contact me to hear about his borderline harassing behavior in the parking lot as we tried to leave on Feb 13 (we actually said we didn’t need to talk to him, he flagged us down). You can get our contact Info via service date and our gold Highlander. Danielle at the front desk should be able to help you get our contact info as she has helped take care of our cars for years. This whole event started when I called because I hadn’t received the “your vehicle is entering service” text, and was told by Brandy that because I booked a drop off oil change my car wouldn’t be ready until 6pm. When I tried to explain that the online booking service says 4pm, she restated that it wouldn’t be ready until 6pm “because you booked it…”. Ok cool cool it’s my fault, but the booking service says 4pm (see pic taken this morning 02/14) and your own front door currently says you close at 5pm. Also I have to be at work and can’t wait until 6pm. Zero listening, zero ownership, zero apology. I let her know this was terrible customer service, and that I was using a free oil change coupon I received as an apology fro
